Dean Jones is a creative, customer-focused risk and control management professional with extensive experience in the development and implementation of internal audit practice.  His risk based and ethical approach to assessing and addressing business risk, plus exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, has lead to Internal Audit appointments in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and United States.  In addition, he has supported audit teams in Argentina, Canada, Australia, and Germany, specifically providing technical subject matter expertise, enhancing quality of auditor performance, and assessing existing audit practice prior to the implementation of global standards.
He has presented to industry peers in the IIA, ISACA, ACFE and IMA on a diverse range of topics and has a wide portfolio seminars including fraud prevention/detection/investigation, financial/IT/operational internal audit practice, auditing insurance and financial services organizations, SOX, computer forensics, and emerging technology risks such as cloud computing.

John Nickolas joined The Phillies organization in July 2003 and currently serves as vice president, chief financial officer. Prior to joining The Phillies, Mr. Nickolas had been a managing director with Internet Capital Group, Inc., since January 1999. During his tenure at ICG, Inc., Mr. Nickolas served in a variety of roles including chief financial officer of ICG Europe Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, and as a board member and chief financial officer of Logistics.com, an Internet Capital Group partner company. Prior to joining ICG, Inc., Mr. Nickolas served in various financial positions with Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., from 1994 through 1998, most recently as corporate controller. Prior to joining Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., Mr. Nickolas was an audit manager in the Philadelphia office of KPMG LLP. Mr. Nickolas graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in Accounting from West Chester University.

Mr. Nickolas was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. He currently resides in Newtown Square, PA, with his wife Pam, two sons, John and Michael, and two Shih Tzu, Daisey and Duke.

More about Lisa Bussom

Lisa Bussom is a Senior Lecturer at Widener University where she teaches courses in undergraduate statistics, operations management and management of technology, productivity and change. Prior to joining the faculty, she was the Assistant Dean and Director of Graduate Business Programs at Widener University where she had responsibility for the administration of all graduate business programs including the MBA and the MS in Taxation and Financial Planning. She is a believer in active learning and has developed a number of interactive techniques for use in her classes. Lisa is highly interested in process improvement in all areas of organizations and is currently consulting with the Director of Graduate Enrollment to investigate graduate retention issues.
